Women are extremely underestimated not just by others but even more so by ourselves. Join me in my victories and struggles as a woman, wife, mother, and citizen.  Encouraging words, humor, serious stories, and truth fill the stories written just for you.

This blog is for women who want to talk about women stuff. A place where I can share with you the realities of being a woman, mom, and wife. The good things, the bad, the hard, and the wonderful. This is a place for your questions and my attempt to answer them. I want to be real and honest. I might bring up personal issues, ones that might be controversial, maybe a little private, but things that we need to talk about. Consider me a friend, a sister, a mother, a woman. Some say I am funny, crazy, sweet, and tough. I think I am all of those things and so much more. You may not agree with everything I write but that is OK. Let's embrace our differences, let's appreciate our uniqueness, and be able to enjoy the similarity we have....
being a woman.

I love people. I love women. I think we all need to talk more about life and the truth of what being a woman is. I want to be able to help you and at the same time help me as I talk about things in my life. I won't kid you; I do want to make money from this blog and our website. I am hoping to make enough money to pay off our debt and buy some land and a pole barn. Yes, a pole barn, not a regular house. We travel full time in a camper, so I don't need a fancy home. Any links you see for products or ads, I get paid a commission on. I don't have to get rich, I just want 25 plus acres with a pole barn/metal building to make into a home. I am hoping to make enough money from all of my websites and blogs to do that. But, you can ask anyone that knows me well and they will tell you, I love people and love to help people, even when there is nothing in it for me. I hope I can help you and you help me.

I was born in northern Wisconsin. I grew up hunting, fishing, trapping, doing ballet, canning food, gardening, and enjoying an adventurous childhood. We later moved to southeast Wisconsin and I graduated early from high school to join the Navy. While in the Navy I met my husband who I have been married to for 26 years.  We have six children whom I have home schooled.   My husband was sick for many years and is well now.  We decided to travel full time around the United States to take back some of the time lost.  Our travels continued for ten years and ended in 2018, when we bought a home in southern Missouri.
